the settings module is the system wide configuration center for core manager and, by extension, for the entire mantsu suite what is configured here setting description batch types define the types of batches used across production batch statuses define the possible statuses a batch can have units of measure (uom) define all units of measure available across the system these settings underpin the data entered in all other modules and should be configured before going live with any module the settings page can be extended to what is specifically required for your plant for example label templates are added to the materials a custom settings page can be created to configure label template names and create a set of variables that will be completed by information provided by material data & production order data
