Equipment
The Equipment module manages all physical assets on the shop floor that are relevant for production execution, such as a production line, a production cell or a piece of equipment. Each equipment is linked to a specific location in the hierarchical tree structure.
Equipment Parameters
Each equipment record can have the following optional parameters:

Barcode | Links the equipment to a physical barcode on the shop floor |
ERP Code | Maps the equipment to a record in your ERP system |
Roster | Assigns a shift roster to the equipment, and can be used in the OEE calculations |
Downtimes Enabled | Activates downtime tracking for this equipment |
MQTT Topic | Connects the equipment to an IoT/MQTT data feed |
These optional fields give you the possibility to link your master data in Mantsu with a physical location or directly with your ERP.
Equipment Classes
Equipment is organised by Equipment Classes, a category template with shared parameter definitions. This promotes consistency and speeds up the onboarding of new assets of the same type.
