all materials in the bill of materials (bom) can be consumed and logged directly from mantsu's order cockpit consumption is by default in the base uom (unit of measurements), but can be entered in alternative uoms (unit of measurements) when a unit conversion is available for the material if the material is batch enabled, the operator should also fill in which batch is consumed this can be done by scanning or via free text registrations tab each consumption entry appears in the registrations tab with the following information field description material material code + description consumed batch the batch number consumed qty + uom consumed quantity and unit of measure timestamp date and time of the entry confirmed by the user who registered the consumption
