Inspection Plans define **what needs to be checked, for which material, and at which operation**. They are the blueprint that drives inspection lot generation: every time an inspection is triggered for a material, the system looks up the active inspection plan for that material and creates an inspection lot based on it.

## Versioning & Lifecycle

Inspection plans are **versioned** and follow the same controlled lifecycle as list templates and recipes in the Mantsu suite:
