Core Manager (also called the Core Application) is the **master data backbone** of the Mantsu suite. In this module you will configure the structure that will be used by all other modules: Locations, Equipment, Materials, Production Orders and system-wide settings such as UoM, batch statuses or batch types.

No production execution takes place in Core Manager itself. Instead, it acts as the configuration layer that makes execution in the other modules possible and meaningful. It is intended to be managed by the functional administrator.

## Who uses Core Manager?

- **Functional administrators** maintain locations, equipment, materials, and system-wide settings
- **Planners and supervisors** create and manage production orders and shift calendars
- **Operators** rarely work in the Core directly; the other modules consume this master data for them

## How does Core Manager integrate with other modules?

The **Core** is designed to integrate seamlessly with other modules in the manufacturing suite, including:

All modules rely on the master data maintained in Core Manager to function accurately and consistently. This ensures a single version of the truth. 

## How does Mantsu integrate with your ERP?

Production orders and master data can be exchanged with your ERP through flexible REST or OData interfaces. Most ERP interfaces are connected through the Core Manager, where an **interface log** tracks the history and status of every message.
