The Authenticator Application is the **identity and access management (IAM) layer** of the Mantsu suite. It is the central place where all users are managed, roles are defined and access to each Mantsu module is controlled.

## Who uses the Authenticator?

The application is designed for two distinct audiences:

- **IT administrators**: manage users, roles and integration with corporate identity systems
- **Shop-floor users**: need fast, friction-free login methods suited to a production environment (badge scan, PIN, or shared device login)
